I'm a certified personal trainer and master health coach.


I've been involved in health and fitness most of my life, whether it was competing in triathlons, training & coaching CrossFit, or optimizing my health and performance by experimenting with various diets. I've pretty much tried, experimented, or studied it all.


My why:


As a former financial planner and consumer goods marketer, I've had the opportunity to be a student of human behavior over the last 20 years.


I’ve seen the negative effects of behavioral choices that led to poor financial planning and the consumption of unhealthy products. 


Poor behavioral lifestyle choices can lead to the most common diseases associated with aging (diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, obesity). These so-called age-related diseases can increase out-of-pocket medical costs in retirement by over 500%. Yes, you read that right, 500%!


We know that most of these age-related diseases are preventable simply by making a long-term, sustainable investment into your health and well-being through thoughtful lifestyle changes.


This made me ask the question, why aren’t we applying the same thoughtful and strategic planning principles to our long-term health that we do for our financial investments and retirement plans? 


In a world of quick health hacks, long-term planning for health is often not considered. But something clearly isn’t working with only 12% of U.S. adults having good metabolic health.


For this reason, I work with my clients to develop a long-term strategic and sustainable approach to healthy aging through fitness.
